“Thank you to the team at Pilbara Heart Horses for helping our Charlotte’s dreams come true last year. We especially appreciated the emphasis on safety and care taught to her as she embarks on her horsemanship journey. It is without a doubt the highlight of her week, and we look forward to another term ahead of learning and fun!”

Through their innovative programs and compassionate approach, Pilbara Heart Horses along with Autism Horses Australia has made a significant impact in our community and to our family. It is something our family has been finally waiting for locally. They are helping individuals with and without disabilities overcome challenges, cope with mental health issues, and lead happier, healthier lives. I have personally witnessed the positive results of their sessions with our son Mason who is non-verbal autistic. The Autism Horses NeuroThrive System PEERS Program specifically addresses the three pillars of Mason’s diagnosis: Communication, Social Interaction and Restrictive and Repetitive thoughts and behaviours. The development in Mason since starting these sessions has made a huge impact to his life and our family.”

Our students had the opportunity to spend time with Breeze, Blondy and the cheekiest pony, Max. Faime created a safe and inclusive environment that allowed our students to engage with the horses and learn to respond to their non-verbal cues and behaviour which is vital for their social and emotional skills and regulation. Our students responded positively to this experience and are excited to share in this experience again. We are incredibly grateful and fortunate to have Faime and Pilbara Heart Horses in the Karratha community and look forward to our next Equine Assisted Learning excursion with Faime and her beautiful tribe of horses.”
